Homework - due Friday 2nd October
A Purple Mash 2do has been set for the children to complete a leaflet about the Ancient Mayans. Children should type into the leaflet what they learned from Big Nose during our Mayan workshop. They may have started the leaflet in school and must complete it for homework. If for any reason they cannot access Purple Mash, they can create a written poster or leaflet and upload a photo onto class dojo.
Spelling homework (week beginning September 21st):
Alongside specific spelling patterns and rules, Year 6 will also be recapping the National Curriculum statutory spelling lists and working hard in school to find ways of learning to spell them. Please support them by practising at home too. This week we are revising the first column of the Year 3/4 list below. If your child wants to be rewarded for any practise they have done, simply upload a photo onto class dojo. Thank you
We continue to invest in some fantastic new fiction and non-fiction home reading books. We are hoping this will encourage Opal class to read regularly. Children who read at least 3 times a week and have this recorded in their reading record will receive a dojo point.
Reading records are checked on dojo every Monday.
Remember to login to TT Rockstars for regular practise of Times Tables.
Children will be rewarded with dojos for completing the soundcheck once a week.
