We have recently invested in some fantastic new fiction and non-fiction home reading books. We are hoping this will encourage Ruby class to read regularly. Children who read at least 3 times a week and have this recorded in their reading record will receive a dojo point.
Reading records are checked every Monday.
Remember to login to TT Rockstars for regular practise of Times Tables.
Children will be rewarded with dojos for completing the soundcheck once a week.
Weekly written Maths Homework is given every Monday to be completed by Friday.
A CHILD'S WAR HOMEWORK PROJECT
This term we are learning about what life was like for children during WW2.
As part of our end of topic WW2 celebration, which will be on Friday 6th December, we will ask children to attend in a 1940s costume. This is a homework project as we would like the children to create their costumes in a ‘make do and mend’ way. The best costume which has been home-made will win a £5 Amazon Voucher. Below are some sites which have more information on ‘make, do and mend’.
Good Luck everyone.
