Reading Rewards

We have recently invested in some fantastic new fiction and non-fiction home reading books. We are hoping this will encourage Ruby class to read regularly. Children who read at least 3 times a week and have this recorded in their reading record will receive a dojo point.

Reading records are checked every Monday.

Remember to login to TT Rockstars for regular practise of Times Tables.

Children will be rewarded with dojos for completing the soundcheck once a week.

Weekly written Maths Homework is given every Monday to be completed by Friday.

FROZEN KINGDOM HOMEWORK PROJECT

This term we are learning about the climate, habitats, people and creatures of the Polar Regions.

This term's ongoing homework project is to write a commentary for a scene from the BBC TV Programme: Frozen Planet. The best commentary will be recorded, edited and entered in the Podcast category for this year's Oscars event.

Below are some links to YouTube scenes from the show. The challenge is to try not to copy the narrator and write your own commentary. Watching it without the sound may help at some point.
