Dear Parents/Carers,

First of all, we would like to thank you all for the fantastic support you have given the children during this very challenging time. The response we have had to remote learning tasks set by teachers has been excellent.

The challenge of supporting children working at home with remote learning tasks will become more challenging as we invite more children back to learn at school. All teaching staff will be teaching groups of children during the school day. Therefore, we will unfortunately have to make some changes to the level of support we will be able to offer.

Where possible, teaching activities which are being delivered to children in school will be made available to those working at home. For some year groups, the level of instruction or direction to tasks may be reduced, but we will still make daily suggestions of where you can access year group specific learning tasks. The online sites which we will be directing pupils to are all government recommended.

Do not hesitate to contact school if you experience difficulties in accessing any of the sites suggested by staff. We will try our best to make alternative suggestions or support you in any way that we can.

Staff will still endeavour to respond to questions or queries on class dojo about home learning. Any work which is uploaded onto dojo will be acknowledged and rewarded but due to the increase in on-site commitments, staff will be unable to offer detailed feedback on learning that happens at home.

All staff are in school every day so if you have any concerns, queries or need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us. We miss the children very much and are looking forward to them all returning soon.

Kind regards,

Sharon James
