Arrangements for September 2021
Here are some bits of key information for September:
Start and finish times
We are moving back to one start time for all but this is anytime between 8.45am and 8.55am. If your child arrives after this time, they will be marked on the register as L for late. If your child arrives after 9.15am they will be marked on the register as U which is an unauthorised absence. Both gates will be shut promptly at 8.55am so that the register can be taken before 9am (lesson time). Children will go straight into school as they do now.
At the end of the school day, the teacher will bring out their children as they do now, at these times: Nursery (3.05pm to 3.15pm) Reception 3.05pm, KS1 3.10pm and KS2 3.15pm. Please continue to pick up as you usually do – wait in a line (or on a spot) and your child/children will be sent to you.
Before and After School Club (Go to the top building entrance)
Drop off from 7.45am (do not leave children on their own, you must wait with them until before school club opens at 7.45am). Before school club is £3 per child per day and includes breakfast.
Pick up 4.30pm. After school club is £5 per child per day. If you are late, there will be an additional charge of £2.
Wearing a mask is up to the individual, please wear one if you feel more comfortable when dropping off or picking up.
A member of staff will be available on the gate to take any messages, but the best way to communicate is through class dojo. If you need to talk to the teacher, message them and ask them to call you or phone the office and ask them to call you. There will also be a member of staff from each class on the yard each morning/after school. If you need an appointment to see a teacher or member of staff, please make this in advance. We will not be able to facilitate face-to-face appointments without prior arrangement.
Tuesday 2nd November and Thursday 4th November 3.30pm till 6pm in the hall. These will be face to face meetings and will give you the opportunity to find out how your child/children have settled into their new class. If you would prefer a telephone call instead, then that is also fine – a letter will go out nearer the time.
We hope that you and your family have a lovely summer break and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 6th September.
